They were a supporting hand for many stray cats that confronted them.
The Living Genies Of The Cat Community
Kurt and Melanie, a loving couple in Montreal, Canada, have been looking after poor homeless cats of their own will. If they were to adopt them, they would. But they needed more chances as they already had too many cats. But as the passionate cat lovers they were, they still did whatever they could do for a poor cat. According to Lovemeow, the couple provided food and shelter in the backyard.
Appearance Of A New Beginning
There was this shy, black cat who confronted them one day. She had her fair share of food and care and went away. The cat was a mother to four little kittens. Without taking so long, she returned with her babies to find the same amount of care she had prior. And what about Kurtis and Melanie? They were happy to help without any hesitation. And the fact that there were little kittens wormed their hearts even more.
It looked like the mama cat was proud of her idea to bring her kittens with her. She was pleased with the generosity of the lovely couple towards her family.
The Adorable Furballs
Unsurprisingly, the kittens were adorable and bundles of joy. They went here and there, trying to explore their new home. They received the love and affection they had been craving for too long. The couple filled each of them with food and cared for them individually.
Forever Homes
Because of the limited chance of adopting them, Melanie and Kurtis looked for permanent shelters for the cat family. They looked for the most suitable and lovable owners they could find. In the meantime, they had a lovely time learning about the adorable quarter. However, two of the furballs found their new homes and were ready for a new beginning with their new owners.
The Cuddliest Duo
On the other hand, the remaining kittens were named after the couple out of love. They were named Kurt and Mel. These were almost attached. They could not find themselves separate from each other in the slightest. So, they will also live together in a new household. They should look for a person who likes to grow a pair.
Kurtis stated that Kurt and Mel were the cuddliest duos and it would be better if someone could adopt them together. She explained in an interview with LoveMeow.
As the mother cat was gone, the mother could not get spayed. Therefore, Kurtis and Melanie looked for her. Meanwhile, the cuddly duo had gotten help from the rescue group Chatons Orphelins Montreal. And the search for a forever household was on the run as well. Kurt and Mel also had their first visit to the vet.
A Never-Ending Love
The amount of dedication this beautiful couple does for these cats is precious. They are excellent examples of humanity. Not only now but forever, they will passionately contribute their heart-warming work for the cat community. Thanks to the couple, Kurt and Mel will also find a home and be saved. And yet again, cats will appear near their doorstep, and we will find them basking the cats with their eternity of love.
